Bindle Wireless Playhouse is a Montana-based audio theater company founded in 2024. The company performs monthly at Last Best Comedy in Bozeman and releases recordings of its live productions as a monthly podcast.

 

Our mission is to create a unique and engaging audio theater experience that delivers a cinematic quality through sound.

The company was formed by former members of the acclaimed Don’t Close Your Eyes: Live Radio Theater, which ran from 2012 to 2019 in Bozeman and produced more than 50 original shows at venues including the Verge Theater, Ellen Theatre, Rialto, Pine Creek Lodge, Sweet Pea Festival, and Live from the Divide. Building on that foundation, Bindle Wireless Playhouse advances the form through enhanced sound design, original music, improved recording technology, and a more rigorous rehearsal process resulting in a more polished, vivid audio experience.

Blending the spirit of classic radio drama with modern audio theater techniques, Bindle Wireless Playhouse creates immersive, stand-alone storytelling experiences across a wide range of genres, including detective fiction, science fiction, pirate adventure, romance, westerns, and thrillers. Each production is an original work designed to engage audiences through dynamic performances and richly layered sound design.
